The TANNA Mloganzila Nurses Excellence Awards (TAMNEA) was established in October 2025 by the association's Branch Executive Committee (BEC) under the visionary leadership of Mr. Amon Kaponda Kwiligwa, the association Chairperson.
Mr. Kwiligwa had the vision for these awards since February 2025 during his campaign for the association leadership election. His commitment to recognizing nursing excellence has now become a reality that will inspire generations of nurses.
The awards will be held once every year in December and will involve all nurses working at Muhimbili National Hospital - Mloganzila from different perspectives of the nursing profession, celebrating excellence across all specialties and roles.
